Home Sweet Home

Welcome!

We've moved into our new place in Cotacachi.  Right in town and plenty of room for visitors!  Plus lots of light and a small garden out back for Kaia to work on training Quilo. Figs, tangerines, lemons, limes, plums, apples and a few neighboring avocado branches fill the yard. A lot of what we like about the place is the fact that we run into neighbors all the time, just like home in Minnesota.  Always have to add a few minutes to any excursion as chances are, you'll run into someone and chat for a while.  I don't entirely get how these small shop economies actually come together in the end, but one benefit for families and children is definitely the amount of time everyone gets to spend together.  And we're sure enjoying the pace and time together in our new home and hometown as well.

  1. Wow Kaia, you are a fantastic dog trainer. Jim and I are so impressed. You also have a very smart pooch. Your new home looks absolutely lovely and the bright sun light is something we're missing here in MN. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. I'm enjoying your adventures so much!!! Hugs to you all.

  3. Hey guys,

We were wondering what became of you and your plans to move to Cuence until I discovered that my reply post to your post in November...did not post. My sincere apologies. We are ending our sabbatical in two weeks and headed home, but I'd love to get in touch with you. Glad to see you're having a blast here.
